2024 Annual General Meeting Announcement

The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) Australia Incorporated Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for Friday, 25 October, commencing at 7 pm. This year’s AGM will be held virtually via Zoom.

All APDT members are invited to attend and participate in the AGM.

 

If you have never been to an AGM, here’s what typically happens:

• The attendees are welcomed, and an attendee roll is taken.

• The minutes of the last AGM are accepted as an accurate account of the previous meeting.

• The current president and treasurer give their end-of-year reports.

• The current committee is then thanked and asked to step down.

• A new executive and ordinary committee, which will play a vital role in shaping the future of APDT, will then be appointed by your vote based on the nominations received.

• The newly appointed committee will continue our association’s mission, attending to any business filed for action at the AGM.

Typically, an APDT AGM takes about 60 minutes.

Now that you know what is involved, we encourage you to attend and nominate yourself to become an APDT committee member. Your active participation is crucial to the success of our organisation.
