2024 APDT Annual General Meeting
2024 Annual General Meeting Announcement
The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) Australia Incorporated Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for Friday, 25 October, commencing at 7 pm. This year’s AGM will be held virtually via Zoom.

All APDT members are invited to attend and participate in the AGM.
If you have never been to an AGM, here’s what typically happens:
-
The attendees are welcomed, and an attendee roll is taken.
-
The minutes of the last AGM are accepted as a true account of the previous meeting.
-
The current president and treasurer give their end-of-year reports.
-
The current committee is then thanked and asked to step down.
-
A new executive and ordinary committee, which will play a vital role in shaping the future of APDT, will then be appointed by your vote based on the nominations received.
-
The newly appointed committee will continue our association’s mission, attending to any business filed for action at the AGM.

Typically, an APDT AGM takes about 60 minutes.

You can download and read a copy of the 2023 APDT AGM Minutes, held on Friday, 13 October 2023.

Now that you know what is involved, we encourage you to attend and nominate yourself to become an APDT committee member. Your active participation is crucial to the success of our organisation.

Did you know that APDT currently has no committee members under 35?
This is a missed opportunity for our organisation to adapt
and give younger trainers a voice on the committee.

I have some business to raise
Do you have any business that you feel the committee should address at the AGM?

Lifetime APDT Membership

2024 AGM Agenda
The agenda will be available two weeks before the meeting.

Remember that the APDT committee and the organisation are run solely by dedicated volunteers. Your assistance is vital in ensuring that the APDT stays relevant and promotes positive, force-free dog training methods and solutions for all the dogs in Australia.
